The history of Print Making
Printmaking is a way of making imprints of ink mainly onto paper. The unique thing about printmaking is that it is possible to easily make more than one print.
It started in around the 1400’s. Before than pieces of art only became one of a kind. But when printmaking came around it was possible to make hundreds of the same images. This makes it possible to have more than one image in the world!
There are many different types of printmaking. To name a few are: - Lino cut
-Dry point
I mainly use the techniques of Lino cutting and Drypoint.
